Interact club is a club for young people ages 12-18 who want to join together to tackle the issues in their community that they care about, working together in a world of fellowship dedicated to service and international understanding.Through Interact, one can:

  • Carry out hands-on service projects
  • Make international connections
  • Develop leadership skills
  • Have fun!

Interact clubs organize at least three service projects a year: one that benefits their school, one in their community and one that encourages international understanding.Service projects are an effective way for you to take action at home and abroad, connect with other young leaders, and get members excited about your club. While Interact Clubs receive guidance from individual Rotary clubs, they govern and support themselves.

The goals of Interact are:

  • To recognize and develop consttructive leadership and personal integrity
  • To encourage and practice thoughtfulness of and helpfulness to others
  • To create an awareness of the importance of home and family
  • To build respect for the rights of others based on the recognition of the worth of each individual.
  • To emphasize acceptance of individual responsibility as the basis of personal success, communityimprovement, and group achievement
  • To develop life skills including self-development, time management, and personal finances.
  • To recognize opportunities for gaining increased knowledge and understanding of community, national, and world affairs
  • To open avenues of personal and group action leading to the advancement of international understanding and goodwill towards all people.
